160mm HDPE Pipe PE100 PN6 6m

This listing is a 160mm outside-diameter PE100 pipe supplied as a 6m stick, catalogue class PN6 / SDR26. It is not a coil and it is not a higher-pressure SDR11/PN16 wall. Use it only where the drawing calls for this OD and class.

PN6 is a relatively thin wall for PE100 at this diameter. That keeps mass down on a 6m length compared with a heavier class of the same OD, but the pipe still needs dunnage, end caps, and a clean trench. Do not drag sticks across stone or treat the wall as if it were SDR11. For planning mass and vehicle loading, use the HDPE pipe weight chart and then confirm kilograms per metre on the manufacturer datasheet.

At 160mm, crews commonly butt-fuse long runs and use electrofusion where fittings, repairs, or restricted pits make a butt machine awkward. Mechanical joints exist, but they are not the default on a 160mm pressure main.
