Agreement

By using this website or placing an order with HDPE Plumbing & Trading, you agree to these terms. We supply plumbing and civils products on a business-to-business (B2B) wholesale basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. These terms apply together with our shipping & returns policy and privacy policy.

Website use

Product descriptions, images, and specifications on this site are for general trade reference. We aim to keep content accurate but do not warrant that every detail is complete or current. Catalogue pages are not an offer to sell at a listed price unless explicitly stated. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or scrape content in a way that burdens our systems.

Quotes, pricing & payment

Prices are quoted on request and may change without notice until an order is confirmed. Unless stated otherwise, prices are exclusive of VAT and delivery. Payment terms (cash, EFT, or approved trade account) are agreed per order or account application. We may refuse or cancel an order if stock is unavailable, credit terms are not met, or details provided are incomplete.

Orders, delivery & risk

An order is confirmed when we accept it in writing (email, invoice, or delivery note). Collection is from our branch unless delivery is quoted and booked. Risk in goods passes on collection or delivery to your nominated carrier or site, as set out in our shipping & returns policy.

Returns & defects

Returns are handled as described on our shipping & returns page. Defective or incorrectly supplied goods must be reported promptly with your invoice or delivery note. Cut pipe, special orders, and installed goods are not returnable except where consumer law requires otherwise.

Consumer Protection Act

Most of our trade is with businesses, contractors, and merchants. Where the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) applies to a transaction, your statutory rights are not excluded except as permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be contracted away.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, project delay, or loss of profit arising from use of this website or supply of goods. Our liability for any claim relating to products we supply is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the price paid for the affected goods, at our option.

Privacy

Personal information is processed as described in our privacy policy, including POPIA section 18 disclosures.

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Parties agree to the jurisdiction of the South African courts. We prefer to resolve disputes in good faith by contacting wesley@hdpeplumbingtrade.co.za before formal proceedings.

We may update these terms when our practices or legal requirements change. The current version is always published on this page. Last updated: August 2026.
