Water meters trade brochure

A takeaway page for the meter types we already describe. No live prices. The price-free PDF is on this page.

4 Rivett Carnett Street, Alrode South, Alberton. Prices are on enquiry.

The old water-meters PDF URLs now land here, the same way the valves PDFs land on the valves brochure. This page is the HTML summary. It is not a live price list and not a dump of every meter SKU.

Specification notes stay on the water meters hub. The nine cards below are every water meter in the catalogue, and each one already has an indexable page. There is no bulk or Woltman meter, meter coupling, or meter box in that catalogue. Ask the branch which of these nine are on the current utility list.

This is not a price list

  • No live ZAR, and no public price-list PDF
  • Not a full catalogue of every meter in the warehouse
  • Not a utility approval or a calibration certificate
  • Not a promise that a reed switch or pulse module is in the box

Meters this page covers

Names, class, and pulse language as already published. Confirm the utility list before you lock a SKU.

What to send for a quote

  1. Nominal size and whether the meter is domestic or bulk
  2. Pattern: multi-jet or volumetric, if the schedule names one
  3. Accuracy class from the tender, such as Class B or Class C
  4. Pulse, reed, or logger needs, and whether the module must be fitted
  5. Straight-length limits, and whether the pit is new or a retrofit
  6. Threaded or flanged mates, and any valve spacing the operator requires

Questions we hear often

Is this a price list?
No. It describes meter types we already publish on the water meters hub. Live prices stay off. Ask the branch for a quote.
Where is the PDF?
The price-free file Wesley approved is at /downloads/water-meters-brochure.pdf. It has no live prices.
Multi-jet or volumetric: which should I order?
Follow the pattern on the utility list or the engineer schedule. Brass multi-jet pages are 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 32mm. Polymer volumetric pages are 15mm and 20mm. Brass volumetric pages are 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm. Do not swap them to match a photo.
Are a reed switch and pulse-ready the same thing?
Not always. The brass multi-jet titles name a reed switch. The volumetric titles say pulse-ready or pulse prepared, which means a pulse sensor can be fitted. Confirm whether the module is included.
