The listing title says reed switch. The product family is pulse-prepared: a magnet on the register can drive a reed or pulse module for remote or logger reading. Pulse settings vary. Confirm whether the meter you receive has the reed fitted, or a pulse-prepared register that still needs the module. Do not assume every box includes the same pulse kit.

Install it horizontally. Multi-jet meters are sensitive to orientation. The dry-dial counter is meant to be read easily in that position (finest increment on the family literature is 0.0002 m³). A removable strainer helps where suspended solids are a risk; multi-jets are generally less upset by grit than some other mechanical patterns, but the strainer still needs field maintenance.

Body material is dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass. Inlet and outlet threads follow ISO metric sizes for 25mm services. Working pressure on the family literature is 1600 kPa. Cold meters are commonly limited to ≤ 50°C; hot variants ≤ 90°C. Recalibration is described as possible in a SANAS-accredited verification laboratory. SANS 1529 Class B is commonly specified on this pattern. Confirm the current mark, utility acceptance, and cold vs hot variant on the manufacturer datasheet.
